SEATED LIBERTY, ARROWS, NO MOTTO TYPE, 1860-P, Breen 4025.  A wonderfully lustrous white ANACS graded and authenticated AU-50, with much of the coin showing no sign of wear, but with some weak stars and a few opposite reverse edge letters, which may simply be an uneven strike rather than wear. Breen 4025, and is cited by him as "EXTREMELY RARE". Only found in business strikes and rarely offered at auction. This type has the so-called "Type II" obverse, and "Type I" reverse. Breen has no citation for examples at auction, and we have not found any in recent major auctions. We know of very few having been authenticated and almost none higher.  POR

1917-P,  LIBERTY STANDING, TYPE I , Graded by ANACS MS-63, "FULL HEAD".   A CHOICE toned coin, with much luster.  Good for a quality Uncirculated type set which should have the sought after first type of the classic Liberty Standing without the chain mauled breast cover. This coin is enhanced by its fully struck detail of Liberty's head and cap.  Often  uncirculated pieces with fully struck head of Liberty are worth more than double the normal Red Book prices.   The Coin Values lists this coin with "Full Head" in MS-63 at $500.00   Buy here full head with slab for only $435.75

1917-P, LIBERTY STANDING QUARTER,  Type I, AU-58, almost full head with good head detail, white with nice luster $195.00

This is also a difficult date. This coin with its slight imperfections is priced very reasonably. This is the classic Liberty Standing type without the chain mauled breast cover. Normally a $235.00- $250.00 coin.  $90.00.
